Story LineBrendan Gleeson narrates a documentary series marking the centenary of the Irish Civil War. After a long struggle Irish separatists have forced Britain to withdraw from most the island of Ireland in 1922, but at this moment of independence, the new Irish Free State descends into brutal civil war.
