Story LineIn the 1980s, The Smiths shattered the musical landscape with a startling sound unlike any other at the time. With the four albums they released, they inspired a whole new generation of musicians. Signing to indie label, Rough Trade, the new group released their first single, `Hand in Glove' in May 1983. The Smiths disbanded upon the release of their final album, `Strangeways, Here We Come'.
