Story LineWe crossed the Mediterranean sea and made our way to the southwestern part of Morocco A region famous for the seaside town Agadir and its sandy beach, its mild climate all-year long or its souks. And yet only a few kilometres away, in a Berber village, in the heart of the UNESCO-protected biosphere nature reserve of Arganeraie, lays an exemplary guest accommodation concept. Hassan and Hlne Aboutayeb wanted to develop the idea of sustainable tourism on a human scale. In 2006, they launched this green guesthouse, the Atlas Kasbah, which stands out with its architecture that is nothing short of an ancient fortress.
